Some of you people make me sick… fighting STi vs Evo…
They are both the same, the only difference is that the Evo is a little more track-ready, and the STi is more comfortable and safe.
They are both turbocharged, awd, ultra-high-performance, mustang-beating, reliable, neck-breaking-fast monsters.
Both cars are the fastest thing there is for the money. To me they are both perfect, but I prefer the STi a little over the Evo because of the boxer engine, scoop, and the extra-safety, but that’s why I’m here anyways….

The subaru and the evo is same. when i had ma subaru the 04 plate,
i tested in santa pod it was grumbling more like shaking the i took it to the dealers they sed it was the exaust i checked it ma self and believe it or not there was a broken exaust pipe and some lad’s put banana peels and chocolate bar. I got it repaired i done it ma self i brought a pico exaust like the 1 on ma dads volvo s60r i had the race with ma dad it was draw . then i brought a Evo 7 modified or ready the 1 i brought evry thing stoped working -
then i swaped a 04 Evo for a 06 subaru .thats all folks

very similar vehicles with very close characteristics, and (yes!) pretty similar look’n'feel. both sedans, both 4 doors, both turbo, both with huge rear spoiler..
however new 2008 wrx is a hatchback now.. but I think it is still drivers car just like evolution :))

Subaru make a half decent car but their service stinks and you have to spend way to much fucking money on mantenance.
My imprezza has 7o Thousand kilometers and they want me to give them 1000 to do the front and rear brakes.
No wonder this company makes money. Due to this I will never buy a subaru again. PERIOD.

Ha, 70k kilometeres, and only 1000$ for the brakes (both, front and rear).
It’s not much, I guess you need to change only brake-pads, no discs. And still, It’s not big amout of money for the brakes - just because that’s fucking BREMBOS!!!

I just got an STI on the 53 plate. It is running on 58k, I am new to owning this type of car.
I done 2k miles since i got it.
What do you guys recommend as far as servicing goes.
Do I need to get oil change etc.
As you guys are the pro was wondering if anyone can give me some good pointers.
