2008 Subaru Impreza STI reveled! Again? :)
There are a lot of speculations all over the internet about the upcoming(October) 2008 Subaru Impreza STI. I think everyone already saw muscular Impreza WRC concept that was shown at the Frankfurt International Motor Show some days ago. And we(subie fans) believe that this concept is a tip-off of what next STI will look like.
Yesterday new scans popped up on Nasioc from a japanese magazine "BestCar" showing the car, and it seems to look pretty killer. Sporting the expected high-mount wing, bulging fenders, quad exhaust tips, a substantial front spoiler, and a great-looking set of wheels, this is worlds better-looking than the regular WRX. From the looks of things, the car is also equipped with vented Brembos all around, which is not surprising. Where the WRX looks almost friendly, this thing’s menacing, particularly in that dark gray finish.
Anyway this photos are not real, just renderings that show what the magazine believes the new Impreza STI will look like. And I hope they are right!
Also, it is said that STI will have about 300 horsepower and maximum torque of 45,9 kgm.
