2008 Impreza STI Test Mule Spied!

SPIED - 2008 Impreza STi Test Mule

Impreza STI drivetrain in a stock WRX body

At a quick glance, it looks like stock 2008 Impreza WRX, but dual twin-tipped exhaust outlets, wider tires, larger rims and STi interior(recently rumored SI-Drive controls on the console, STi logo, six-speed tranny, steering wheel).

I think it’s a Impreza WRX with STi guts - in other words it’s Powertrain Mule with changed exterior for testing purposes.

Where do those test-mules end up at? I wonder if I can get one.. :)
