Rumor: Guesses on upcoming 2008 Subaru Impreza STI
According to Corism, the 2008 Subaru Impreza will go on sale in June and the STI version will go on sale in October (in Japan).
Subaru plans to release a sedan, followed by a touring version, a coupe, and a cabriolet - similar to what BMW has been doing.
A 2.0l turbo ~320hp and ~432Nm will power the STI.
Too sad, that we see nice STI sedan on this drawings.. but as Subaru said there will be no STI sedan - only hatchback.

It’s a real shame that Subaru (at least outside America) haven’t committed to a decent looking Sedan WRX and WRX STi. This artists conception actually looks really impressive and represents a true evolution of the previous models.
Subaru: if you change your mind and want to expand the Impreza brand into WRX and WRX STi sedan versions (like these pictures) I’ll be buying one. If not, it’s a CS9 for me.

Dear Subaru
I would like to draw your attention to a fact that despite being unable to win any major rally sti is the winner in the hearts of its lovers annnnnnnnnnnnnnd thats no way because of anything else but its beautiful previous shape in the past soooooooooo plz dont be mistaken by the fact that only making it fast and suitable for rally will win more customers.
Therefor plz make nice sedans instead of this copy version of ugly BMWs thanks

Lets have a look around. Zoom to the front. First the headlights are mixed in with a Mazda 3 and a degrade on styling with the grille and body kit. The pretty gold rims had turned into ugly silver ones. The rear looks like a Saturn L200. Another thing is that no sedan is avalible for the sti. Only hatchback. Impreza is gone….:(
