2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI - New Real Looking Photos!!!
Nihoncar posted some new photos of the upcoming 2008 Subaru Impreza:
This is what the Best Car magazine claims along with a couple interesting informations on this new version of the ultimate Subaru.
First of all we can’t help but thinking that this new version has a lot to do with the arrival of its bigger challenger the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X and its impressively aggressive look, but at the same time it is Subaru’s tradition to take the Impreza to the top of the technology….

As an 05 STi owner, I’d say that EVO X looks far better. That STI looks bland and unexciting. God… it’s bad… where is the aggression, the pedigree of the past? It looks like a SAAB for heavens sake.
I really thought it would be something on a par with the EVO X or the GT-R, sadly looks like a conservative Eurobox car with extended wheel arches and a “fanboy” spoiler shoved on the back. It really does look an utter mess.
Come on Subaru, get some decent designers, you dropped the ball on the B9 Tribeca, then the 06 Impreza, now the 08 Impreza.
this isn’t subaru’s design. its just another photoshop. calm your horses. i disagree about the evo X. i don’t like the style of the evo X its just a lil too cartoony for me, besides it looks exactly like the regular lance except for the wheels an a lil extension of the front spoiler. nah i’ll gladly pass on the evo and at this rate the new evo will be pushin close to new m3 numbers. new m3 is a lil over $50,000 the new evo gotta be around $40,000 the last evo was floating around that area as it is. i don’t car is the new impreza looked like a shoebox on wheels. as long as the box has awd, 17s, boxer engine, huge turbo, an intercooler, a 6 speed short shifter, and a subaru logo on it then i’m buyin. no doubts about it. i’ll have the fastest shoebox in Newark, NJ lol.

its fucking ugly i have been dying to buy the 2008 does anyone know if its expensive to look after do i have to get it serviced regally and insurance
yo there’s no info really bout the 08 yet. people aren’t even sure what it looks like. not until it is officially unvieled at the New York Auto Show on April 5th 2007. besides the 08 impreza won’t even be on sale until early next year well that is the STI version. so there won’t be answers to these questions for months.

IF THE 2008 STI WILL BE A HATCHBACK, THEY KILLED THE STI. THIS IS RARE IN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING, THE STI HAS EVOLVED FROM A BUTTERFLY BACK INTO A SLUG!!!!!!!!!
I just can’t wait until the 5th! I’m buying either the Evo X or the 08 STI, and I don’t know what the STI is going to look like yet. I hope to god it’s not ugly because i will have a hard time going with a mitsu… But I like the hatchback idea, very much so.

Dude you are right on the money, Impreza’s should be more pucker and agressive not a hatch back. My Mom freakin drives a hatch back and she hates it ,so you tell me if this subaru deserves to compete with the Evo X because it just looks so much Fresh and Dubbed Out .

OMG that has to be the worst Thing i ever laid my eyes on, while Mitsu Builds A better Evo every year the Sti is Sadly turning into a POS, I`ll put those words on hold tell we actually see this thing,
But come on, Why focus on Looks and a new body style year after year, why not Fix the problems the car has, like massive understeer, I pray to the gods its not a hatch! What we need is the 04-05 body style back with a h6 turbo
