Hug the world? Don’t mind if we do… in total JDM style!!
We gotta say that we were prepared to do nothing but whine this whole article. It was going to be yet another rant on how the U.S. doesn’t get all the cool, fast cars that the cool kids in Japan have. But that whole style of article has been done a million times before.

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI by AutoWeekNot Faster, But Better: Subaru’s cult car shines on
For 2006 Subaru slightly changes the Impreza WRX STi designation to STI. A Japanese engineer told us “STi” caused confusion in Japan and the United States, so they decided to make it all uppercase. What’s most important is that the initials still stand for Subaru Tecnica International, the racing and performance group that makes the STI street car as race car-like as legally possible.
